Bidi safe cassette contents can vary depending on how you work or how many £10s and £20s you have in a cassette. We typically have various mixes of £10s and £20s in each cassette but we always count as if each cassette has £300 in £20s and £200 in £10s. This may result in incorrect counts for £10 and £20 notes but the total value in each cassette is still £500 so the dec will still balance. The default setup for DecMate reflects this way of working and has a bidi safe with £10×20 and £20×15 as the bundles. This means you just need to put the total number of cassettes in both boxes. Of course, if you prefer a different way, DecMate is fully configurable to allow you to change it.
This is the first release of DecMate.
It has been in development and used daily in a small Post Office in West Wales for over 2 years.
We hope you like it.
